Almost 20 years ago, the Group began with a simple idea – to create a little piece of paradise on the exquisitely desolate area in Red Sea. since evolved into a fully integrated town with a population of around 12,000 to 15,000 inhabitants, and a steady yet growing flow of hotel guests throughout the year.

I.C.E, is now crossing over to new shores to bring its expertise and environmentally friendly developments to some of the most breathtaking locales in the Middle East, Europe and around the globe.

As a major town developer in several countries around the globe, We recognize the significant impact we exert on areas in which we operate.

We are committed to sustainable environmental practices, not
only as a responsible organization but also to protect our sites that are,
by their very nature, long-term projects. Therefore, we work hard to help
preserve the natural treasures on which our success is built.
This proactive stance towards environmental issues dates back to the
2002 launch of the Green El Narges initiative, a project aimed to position
El Narges as an environmentally friendly destination. The Green Narges
initiative has evolved to become what is today known as the Green Star
Hotel Initiative.

Environment

Our corporate environmental initiatives aim to generate low waste in our destinations through the following activities: waste recycling plant, water desalination projects, water management systems and planting projects. Moreover, El Narges, one of Egypts most environmentally friendly holiday destinations has been awarded four Green Globe certificates by Green Globe International, a non-profit organization that promotes environmentally and socially responsible tourism. We aim to preserve rivers and water surfaces as well as natural in-habitats. Furthermore, we plan to use a carbon-free energy supply system for the entire resort by using renewable energy sources. In addition, the planned parking lot will oer capacity for approximately 2000 cars, and air pollution and noise in the town can thereby be reduced. We aim to develop each of I.C.E. new destinations to be as environmentally friendly as our flagship.

The company›s commitment to the community is ingrained in its business model. Therefore, each project is built from scratch, developing barren land from the ground up and providing all infrastructures which include roads, electricity, sewage and water. In addition to housing construction, I.C.E. builds facilities such as schools, hospitals, stores, cafes, malls and sporting clubs which are incorporated in the master plan as an integral part of the project.

The company’s role extends to include the management of the township which encompasses routine maintenance, waste management and security service.

Therefore, not merely a developer that provides housing, but a corporate citizen that creates fully integrated communities. As such, the company ensures that every township is self-sustained and this is realized through the creation of employment opportunities which include commercial and simple industrial activities. I.C.E. Works with mortgage finance providers, whether banks or mortgage companies, to design the best financial products which cater to their target market with the minimum possible down payments and monthly installments.

I.C.E. acquires land banks in undeveloped areas at nominal cost and adds substantial value by building residential real estate and all other facilities in stages.

The primary focus of our business is to develop integrated towns.
Each town hosts a wide range of properties, ranging from one bedroom apartments to private villas on man made islands.
To ensure the quality of offerings within its towns, I.C.E. retains ownership of all commercial properties, generating a steady yet growing stream of annual cash flows.

 

At I.C.E. we rely on our own construction capacity to deliver high quality developments up to international standards. From desalination plants and paved roads to the highest specification luxury property, construction projects cover all facets of I.C.E. business regardless of the location.

From our own brick factory at El-Narges, to the construction of employee housing in our construction team is dynamic and finely tuned to match the quality of our services and amenities. We also successfully entered the budget housing market in Egypt with well
established partners in recent years. We believe that this market oers high
growth potential.
The operating cycle of real estate construction starts when the group enters into agreements to sell the real estate of plan and the buyer has the right to adjust the interior architecture. Revenues are recognized when units are delivered to buyers either as fully completed units or as constructed but unfinished.
